In a significant move on late Friday evening, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla constituted a select committee comprising 31 members to study the new Income Tax Bill, 2025 tabled in the Lower House on Thursday by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman. The new income tax bill will address various aspects of the tax system in India.
